Floating Group Planting:浮かぶ寄せ植え



By repurposing a plastic pot and styrene foam, it's possible to create a treatment plant for wetlands. Semi-aquatic plants function as a water filter and help to improve water quality.

In light of the current concerns with the COVID 19 situation, we think it's prudent to cancel Ikebana classes on 17 March. Make up lessons will be scheduled later.

3. Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. 25 - 29 March 2020.

3.1. Shoso is looking for 100s of soft or young eucalyptus branches. Send an email, if you have any information. shososhimbo@gmail.com

3.2. If you would like to be a volunteer for Shoso, please send an email first. shososhimbo@gmail.com and complete an online induction.

Venue: Royal Exhibition Building
When: 10am - 6pm, Sunday 22 March
1pm - 7pm, Monday 23 March
9am - 5pm, Tuesday 24 March

There may be some changes in those hours, because Shoso has to work for 2 other projects at the same time during those days.

The venue, the Royal Exhibition Building, requires all participating exhibitors & their staff to complete their online induction questionnaire prior to accessing the venue.

& this must be completed by all exhibitor site staff, including those setting up, dismantling & working at your site during the Show. Please create an account via this link & complete the Exhibitor Induction modules as required. Please choose “Event Exhibitor & Event Contractor Induction – Museum Spaces” Please then choose the relevant site for your event.

Exhibitors & staff will not be permitted to work onsite at the Show until this induction has been completed so please ensure they do so in advance of their first shift.
